At Orrs, we teach our students our expectations.  Every day, our faculty and staff teach our three (3) P.B.I.S. school-wide expectations:
  1. Be Respectful
  2. Be Responsible
  3. Be Safe
Each week, teachers teach Skill-Streaming lessons and Project Wisdom/Character Education lessons.  Teachers also have access to additional P.B.I.S.  Cool Tools lesson plans on our share drive.

Our P.B.I.S. mission is to increase student achievement by providing a positive environment conducive to learning while decreasing inappropriate behavior.

We have a team that meets monthly to disaggregate our discipline, achievement  and attendance data, to plan the end of the nine weeks P.B.I.S. school-wide celebrations, to implement strategies to address behavioral concerns, to implement rewards for students and teachers, etc.

In conclusion, I would like to solicit your support to encourage positive behaviors at home and in school.  Please remind your child every morning to follow our P.B.I.S expectations.

Thank you for all that you do to support our school,

Paula Calhoun Sanders, School Counselor
