Administrative Dean of Discipline

Hi. I am LaSondra Thrash. I am a Griffin native and matriculated through the Griffin-Spalding School System where I graduated from Griffin High School in 1997. I began my teaching career in 2001 at Anne Street Elementary School then moved to Taylor Street Middle School in 2006 and Rehoboth Road Middle School in 2010. I taught for 22 years before becoming an Instructional Coach in 2023. I am a pet parent to Salem Noir, a black cat with a major attitude. I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and friends, and starting DIY projects. I am excited to join the outstanding faculty and staff at Orrs Elementary as the Dean of Discipline.
